We might be approaching transgender medicine backwards...

In this video, I offer an approach to transgender medicine that is off the beaten narrative in the medical community, whose focus is often to try to recreate biological sex rather than focusing on each individual's unique gender expression along the spectrum, separate from sex. While a focus on secondary sex characteristics is important for some transgender individuals, such a harsh dichotomy may be creating trouble for others.
