Revolvers vs. Semi Automatics for home defense

Lots of subscribers asked us to talk about the pros and cons of revolvers vs. semi automatic handguns. I believe both are sold, reliable defensive tools.

Frankly, I'm less concerned with the tool and more interested in what the user can or can't do under the extreme stress of a gun fight. What matters most is the users training, skills and proficiency. Further, the are many misunderstanding regarding safety and reliability. Plus, many people fail to consider the economics of the tool and the ammunition.
