Unusual THONET chair rebuild!

I have restored dozens of Thonet chairs, but this time I wanted to do it differently....

Thonet chairs are most iconic chairs of all times. They started making them since 1850 and they are still made today. Their design is one of the best that has been ever invented. The chair is made out of beech that is steamed for 5 hours and then formed into metal molding. This method gives very durable structure. Rumor has it, that Thonet chair was allegedly thrown down from the Eiffel Tower to show how well made its structure is and it survived.
