Perfectly Justified: John Newton Lived A Lie (S2E9)

John Newton was an Anglican priest in England who wrote one of the more interesting hymns in Christendom, and he also wrote lyrics accompanied to what is now Germany's national anthem. He was also a perverted slave owner who captained ships and traded African American slaves to lives of entrapment and bondage.
