The citizens of Wood County should be paying close attention to how the public documents on the Wood County official website are being preserved and protected.

“A former elected official communicated to him that Ms. Albers insisted that his name be removed and replaced from those public records. It was a request.”

This weekend it showed on the Public Wood County Website that Angela Albers was the defense attorney on cases all through the '80s and '90s, as far back as 1982. Ms Albers didn't even get her law degree until the year 2000.

This could fall under Tampering with Government Record which is classified in the Texas Penal Code under Title 8 “Offenses Against Public Administration,” Chapter 37 “Perjury and Other Falsification.”
