How to Build HALF a Workbench - Paulk Inspired - Part 1, The TOP

Thanks to the Home Depot Prospective and Ryobi Power tools for partnering on this build!

Today I’m building a Ron Paulk inspired DIY workbench top... yes, just the top for now. This will be the first step of a full workbench build, but with the ability to use the top, on saw horses, until I finalize my design for the lower portion of the bench.

The rigid nature of Ron Paulk’s torsion box design will make this great as a workbench, assembly table, outfeed table or just about whatever else you might need a workbench for! In the video I will go over cutting the plywood, drilling /cutting out the access ports, assembling the frame, adding a grid of clamping holes, adding a final finish…. and my eventual plans for the lower half of this workbench ☺
