Everyone once in a while a cow is born bigger than the rest, on this episode we bring you the world’s largest cow.

Making headlines is from western Australia is this footage here of a cow named Knickers. Now technically Knickers is a steer or a neutered male and is thought to be the world’s largest. Measuring 6 foot 4 or 1.94 meters tall and weighing 3086 lbs or 1400 kgs, while massive Knickers is one of the few steers that has been giving the chance to grow to full size. Usually steers and sold to slaughterhouses at age 2 or 3 and killed immediately after, not reaching their full size.

Knickers being 7 years old is full size now and it is said that if he was chopped up into steaks, he would yield 450 cuts but luckily for him he was too big to go through the processing facility and his life has been spared.

A cattle rancher bought him to be the lead of a cattle herd which is where he’ll live out his days. When he was introduced into the herd he immediately stood out not only from his massive size but being black and white with the rest of the herd being Wagyu which is brown in color. To the rancher’s delight, on a ranch of 20,000 cattle, hundreds of them started following Knickers closely as he easily became the herd leader.

Despite Knickers being outrageously large, the largest cow, apparently, is named Bellino a Chianina steer from Italy. He measured at 6 foot 7 inches or 2.02 meters tall at cattle show in Rome but we have no footage of this.
