The 2GIG GC3 System already has an integrated touchscreen for on-site operation and control. This responsive 7-inch touchscreen operates in full-color, and it is very easy to use on a daily basis. However, some users might want a second keypad for use with their GC3 System. This is common for larger properties and in homes and businesses with multiple points of entry. By adding multiple keypads, a user can arm or disarm their system no matter where they exit or enter from. The GC3 will support up to eight different keypads.

Both the 2GIG SP1 and 2GIG SP2 function in a similar manner. Both feature their own 7-inch full-color touchscreen, just like the GC3 System itself. Additionally, both keypads can provide system status, bypass zones and produce chimes. But the SP1 does more than the SP2. This higher-end keypad offers support for smart home automation functions and spoken voice annunciation. The SP1 will also display a 5-day weather forecast, while the SP2 will not.

In order for any keypad to be used with the 2GIG GC3, it might paired with the system. This is normally done across a WIFI network, but it can also be done through a local access point. If a user does not require a touchscreen keypad, they can use a 2GIG PAD1-345 Push Button Keypad. This device will provide basic system functionality, including the ability to arm and disarm.
