Carla’s Creations
-She has been creating these bead and pegboard creations for 3 years now.
-Her creations vary from small megaman characters to full size battle scenes like this Hulk vs Wolverine.
-Hulk vs Wolverine took 28 hours to complete and is listed for $400 at Meet on main.
-Carla uses perler brand beads and pegboards
-The amount of pieces required to create one varies a lot but for this Jack Skellington, 3000 pieces were used where the Hulk vs Wolverine needed a whopping 28,000 pieces
-To date over 3000 pieces of pegboard art have been created since starting 3 years ago.
-The majority of the creations take between ½ an hour and 4 hours to create depending on the size and complexity
-The most expensive one sold thus far was the Legend of Zelda Link for $150 at the Retro Gaming Expo which is a very fair price considering how unique the piece is and the amount of work required.
-Carla’s Creations are on display on the walls of Meet on Main, a restaurant in Vancouver, a very delicious one at that.
-If you’re looking to get one of Carla’s Creations any of them can be purchased right off the wall at Meet on Main and she attends different shows such as Vancouver Retro Gaming Expo, Fan Expo Vancouver and Calgary Entertainment Expo.
