One of the hardest rock climbing routes on the planet is The Great Arch in Getu Valley, China.

-The great arch in Getu Valley China is a world-renowned rock climbing spot
-It is one of the, if not the most, difficult overhanging rock climbing path in the world
-At the top of the arch it measures a staggering 650 feet or 200 meters tall
-The great arch is made of limestone and is full of giant holes, nobs, crevices that have taken thousands of years to form through wind and erosion.
-The climb is extremely difficult and only sought after but only the most experienced climbers
-The entire area surrounding the arch is full of stunning beauty, it’s got mountains, rice fields and the river
-The river actually makes this climb extra difficult has any failed climbs when crossing the arch will potentially having you stuck hanging over the river, not the easiest place to exit a climb
-Climbers often have a boat position right under them as they descend
-Getu Valley is 5 hours from the nearly city, usually climbers spend at least a week at the arch as it takes hours just to climb certain sections
-There are actually 2 arches and higher and lower one, each offering different challenges
-Before Detu Valley because a tourist and climbing location, farmers in the area were taught at a young age how to climb the cave to collect animal droppings which they could use for farming
-They never had any climbing equipment, just nerves of steel and careful steps
