A Walk Up And Down The Cut Off Stanley Siding 2-20-22

I have a sad feeling it is going to be ripped up soon. I hope they leave it because I have handcar ambitions! It is a sad thing. Once there were three lanes of track and even a wye at one point. In the 1980s two lanes were removed and this dead end siding was all that was left. Within the Valentines week of 2022 the switch was removed completely. I wish I could get the stand, but we will see.
