The advanced AWD system with Instant Traction™ has an electronic management system that constantly monitors the speed of the wheels, the throttle, engine torque, engine speed and the brakes. Take advantage of energy. Every time you release the accelerator or brake while a gear is engaged, the braking energy that otherwise would be wasted is fed back to the battery. Instead of traditional springs, this technology is based on separate air chambers for each wheel. Controlled by a computerized compressor, each air chamber constantly adapts to the driving conditions.
