Poor Man's Winch - Using ratchet straps for winch duties

A poor mans winch is a concept of using a come along or ratchet strap to get the capabilities of a winch in a more portable and affordable package.
Today I’m going to show you a couple of options that I like and think are useful to have around for a variety of different purposes. The ratchet strap I like is a “quickloader” brand that has a some really nice features that most straps don’t have and the come-a-long is a standard one from Harbor Freight that I picked up several years ago and has served me well ever since.
