The ocean garbage patch has made headlines for a long time now, but every year people do not end their contribution to it. There is so much trash in the oceans that ocean clean up has become big business, that gets a lot of good press but like recycling it is a lot of manufacturing processes that use energy and fuels, and emit pollution, and wouldn't be happening if we just stop polluting our planet including the oceans.
