The 5815 is a sleek, older, wireless sensor. Much like the more popular, common 5816, the 5815 boasts sleeker lines, beveled edges, and a nice looking magnet that matches the look of the sensor. Far less popular than he 5816, the 5815 is nevertheless one of the monsters of the Honeywell line - a favorite sensor and magnet combo for security system enthusiasts. For those looking to replace the magnet, the 5899B is the part number (as opposed to the 5899 for the 5816). In this video, Sterling pairs a 5815 to the L5200 security system.
