The Best Way To Use A Pressure Cooker
Using a pressure cooker can be confusing, complicated and sometimes scary. Often I found I would stop using it just because I'd have to look up how much water and time I'd have to cook each food at and it became to cumbersome to use.
Now I just fill the water 1/2 way between the min and max water line, put all my ingredients in and cook for 20 mins, on low, once the pressure cooker is pressurized. I let sit for 5 mins off the element and run cold water over the lid to remove the steam. Make sure to run cold water over the lid as there is a ton of steam inside and it can scald your skin if you open the lid while it's still pressurized.
