Honeywell has added new chime sounds to the software for the L5200 and L7000. For those sick of the old, generic dings, the new panels sport a whole host of (annoying) tones. If you want the panel to notify you of a neighbor at your front door, there is now a sound for that, more generic, wind chimey sounds, the old, nostalgic bing, no tone at all (if you are partial to meditative quiet ), and many more.
