Day 19: Keep on Asking!
• In our fast-paced society, if we’re not careful, we can put an expectations on God as to how and when our prayers should be answered—our way, right away, just like people desire a quick meal option during their day to meet the demands of their on-the-go lifestyle. Growing impatience.
• God desires to move in and through our prayer life, but His way is not always the way we would envision it. Jesus provided instruction for us when it comes to how we should approach prayer. Matt 7:7-8 NLT
• Jesus promises that we will receive when we ask, but actually receiving the answer is far from instant most times. And in the waiting, we must remember the words of Jesus and “keep on asking.” A continuous, never-giving-up attitude takes root in our hearts as we press through because God desires to do more in us through the process. But we can rest assured, even when we don’t see the answer in our timing, we can be confident that God will answer! Rom 8:32

Daily Protection Covenant Declaration
Because I dwell in the secret place of the most High, I shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
Surely he shall deliver me from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.
He shall cover me with his feathers, and under his wings shall I trust: his truth shall be my shield and buckler. I shall not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;
Nor for the pestilence that walks in darkness; nor for the destruction that wastes at noonday.
A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.
Only with thine eyes shall I behold and see the wicked rewarded.

Because I have made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, my habitation;
There shall no evil befall me neither shall any plague come nigh my dwelling.
For God shall give his angels charge over me, to keep me in all my ways.
They shall bear me up in their hands, lest I dash my foot against a stone.

Because I have set my love upon God, therefore will He deliver me: He will set me on high, because I have known His name.
I shall call upon Him, and He will answer me: He will be with me in trouble; He will deliver me, and honour me.

With long life will God satisfy me, and shew me His salvation.
So shall it be for me and my household today and forever, Amen and Amen!
