How do we deal with suffering?

Why is there so much suffering in the world? That’s a question that cynics have asked for a long time. They'll say either God doesn't have the power or He does not care.
In Romans 8, beginning with verse 18 Paul talks about how the Christian can survive and win the victory over suffering. I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us. Romans 8:18
