WHY ISN'T THERE A CLEAR AND EASY WAY FOR PEOPLE TO HOLD SCHOOL BOARD MEMBERS ACCOUNTABLE?

What has become very clear throughout the past two years is that there needs to be an independent and autonomous agency set up in every town to provide oversight for every school district.

These disctricts are protected and insulated from prosecution, accountability and responsibility by the courts and law enforcement. Why?

It should not be that difficult to hold these people responsible for their improper and criminal actions. The reason it is so difficult is because these people have created a structure to preserve at all costs their empires. Empires that represent tens of millions of dollars per school district, and hundreds billions of dollars throughout the state.

The Governors office, State Education Department and the Board of Regents will do everything they can to insure that money is protected. They do not want to leave any of that up to chance. WHich is why you see most of your school boards and members controlled, compromised and frozen from being able to do anything appreciable or of any real consequence. How do we fix this? It needs to be addressed immediately if we have any hope at all of taking back our children's education.
