These Ukrainian conscripts who laid down their arms describe how after a month of service they found themselves at the front without having completed any basic training.

And also that the first to flee to the rear from their positions were their "fatherly commanders," who knew the consequences of their orders to shell peaceful towns in the Donbas.

The treatment of them by the Russian army comes as a surprise to the fighters.

They are treated simply as human beings.
