Catch Fallacies with Truth Tables - Part 2 (CT Scan, Episode 58)

Truth tables are tools to help you spot invalid arguments without having to know the name of a single formal fallacy, and without having to know if the statements in an argument are true! Let’s walk through an example of drawing a truth table for a more complicated argument: “If we didn’t see death and suffering in the world, or if God always kept bad things from happening, then I could believe in a loving God. We do see death and suffering in the world, and God does not always keep bad things from happening. Therefore, I cannot believe in a loving God.”
