Freedom Rolls On Eighteen Wheels

Hello my friends. This is the last song on my latest recording project, called "Fight The Good Fight". This completes CD number 17 in my music library. As a Canadian senior citizen I have been following with great interest the events that have transpired in Ottawa with regard to the Freedom Convoy protests, and how our Prime Minister Justin Trudeau who publicly stated that he supports the often violent and destructive black lives matter protests, failed to even meet with the Canadian truckers to discuss their concerns, and has labelled them terrorists. That is totally unacceptable and more like the actions of a dictator, not a leader of a democratic country. Our Charter of Rights and Freedoms, that was signed into law on April 17, 1982, and has not been repealed, guarantees every Canadian citizen the right to freedom of speech, freedom of religion, and the freedom to peacefully protest when our elected officials forget who and how they were elected to serve, not to rule over. Unfortunately our politicians have evolved into becoming puppets of their corporate masters, the global elite.

The irony of all ironies is the fact that our deputy PM, Chrystia Freeland, has stated that she is in favour of the Emergency Act being made permanent, and she laughed as she said it. She's going to have to change her surname if she intends to do that, because that is not the kind of free land that I want Canada to be. That Freeland should be sent packing in my humble opinion, come election time. These dictators need to be retired at the polls.

My grandfather was a prisoner of war in Germany during WW1, and both my father and uncle served their country in WW2. Their sacrifice made it possible for me to reach the age of 71 without having to experience the horrors of war. But now the war drums are beating again, between Russia and the Ukraine, and God only knows how this is going to end.

If what the media has reported is true, Justin Trudeau only invoked the Emergency Act after talking to Joe Biden, who has had a horrendous 12 months as POTUS, and not someone who should be giving advice to our elected officials. He shut down the Keystone pipeline as soon as he took office, which is proving to be more of an advantage to Russia than the USA, and His withdrawal from Afghanistan was a complete disaster, as American citizens are still trapped there, in a country that is now controlled by the Taliban who were gifted 85 billion dollars worth of American military equipment from the man who has been advising our PM. I can see why many Americans and Canadians are now starting to have voter remorse.
