In 1996 Mel Gibson starred in this little movie, Ransom. His son is kidnapped and instead of paying the ransom, he went on tv and offered the money up as a bounty to whoever got his son back. It was a good little action movie, go watch it. It's one of those movies that make you feel like hell yeah, I would do ANYTHING for my kids. "Come take my kids and find out mf'er"

Well, a few thousand years ago, God sent his son down here to be the ransom for your life. God found YOU to be so invaluable that he sent his ONLY kid to die for you.
