Le’t say you’re in the market for legal representation and none of your friends are able to recommend anyone so you hit the yellow pages, if you were born in 1070, or you immerse yourself into a very comprehensive web search. You find that their are two possible candidates that are local and specialize in the representation that you are specifically looking for. Now you begin to look into their background, experience and education in an attempt to narrow down the choice to one. Within the course of your investigation you discover that candidate number one has a very impressive track record with multiple big case wins, but he is known to be a womanizer with a big ego and brutish language. Candidate number two, however, has been a lawyer much longer and has a 95% loss rate, has been known to lie, has been known to plagiarize, has ties to white supremacist, has been involved in shady backroom deals, and is mentally declining. Faced with these two choices, which one do you believe should be chosen?
