Time for Faith
Should people of faith be involved in politics? What can Christians do to stand up for the vulnerable and the voiceless?
Former pastor and Member of Parliament Mr. Harold Albrecht shares his concerns about government overreach, including his personal observations of the peaceful protests in Ottawa. He explains that engaging in politics doesn't necessarily mean taking a partisan view, but rather being willing to address political issues on behalf of those who are negatively affected by government measures. Importantly, God doesn't call us to be victorious in every battle, he calls us to be faithful as we play our part. Ultimately, however, politics are not the hope of the world: it is Christ who offers true freedom.
