Tensions are high as many people are fleeing war and violence in Ukraine due to Russian invasion. In the midst of the chaos, Black people in Ukraine are facing another level of terror as they are not being allowed to leave.

Many are being held at borders and being blocked from escaping the country. Even during a war, Black people are experiencing deadly discrimination and realizing that they are not truly a part of the country that they live in.

Is this another wake-up call?
