Sometimes, something is so memeable that we get caught of up a wave and get washed ashore. The Book of Boba Fett featured Vespa-like speeder bikes with art deco colors and styling. The Star Wars communities on social media went crazy. Some called it stupid and proof that the show and Disney Star Wars was bad. Some enacted whataboutism and pointing out stuff like Jedi Rocks. The Vespa critics then called out the whataboutism. All the while, some true "woke" points of the episode were missed...points that outlets like Inverse praised.
