Police dealing with ongoing firearms incident after reports of an armed stand-off at a caravan site

Armed cops are today (Mon) still on the scene of a stand-off at a caravan park near an airport in the north of England.

West Yorkshire Police confirmed an operation that began on Sunday at St Helena’s Caravan Park, near the village of Bramhope, Leeds, remained “ongoing”.

Yesterday, police cars, ambulances, fire engines and the bomb squad were seen at the site – with onlookers reporting that chemical weapons specialists were present this morning.
