SOYLENT GREEN 1980 - The Science Fiction Thriller set in 2022 (Funny isn't it?) where the world's population is so great that the residents of New York City live in squalor like rats and eat prefabricated processed food while wishing instead for the government cheese-brick handouts of the 1980s.

Charleton Heston is in yet another nightmarish futuristic fantasy (see The Omega Man on this channel), this time about the controlling power of big corporations aligned with a big brother style government (set in 2022 oddly enough) and an innocent cop who stumbles on the horrible truth of Soylent Green.
