Brick And Pottery Shards?

In Columbus, New Mexico, I am a scant 3 miles from Puerto Palomas, Chihuahua, Mexico.
Here was the last battles fought against a foriegn invader on Continental United States, where Mexican General Francisco (Pancho) Villa attacked Camp Furlong and nearby Columbus residents.
It is here, among this rich History, that I found what may be brick and pottery shards...
