In this video, Daniel talks about Easter. Is Easter a pagan holiday or is it a Christian holiday. What does the bible say about easter? Should Christians celebrate Easter? These are some of the questions people have about Easter and Daniel answers most of them in this video. But in short, the bible does not command us to celebrate easter. We do not celebrate Easter because we have to, but because we want to as Christians. Two thousand years ago Jesus Christ died in our place on the cross by carrying our sins. Then after three days, He rose from the grave claiming victory over sin and death. If this did not happen, our faith would be worthless. In the end, it is your choice whether you celebrate it or not.
Read Romans 14:5-6
One person esteems one day as better than another, while another esteems all days alike. Each one should be fully convinced in his own mind. The one who observes the day, observes it in honor of the Lord. The one who eats, eats in honor of the Lord, since he gives thanks to God, while the one who abstains, abstains in honor of the Lord and gives thanks to God.
