How The Next Recession Will Happen

The stock market had a surprisingly average day today, despite the CPI being released and setting another record print. With some much volatility in the last few weeks, the lack of new developments or economic data misses, today was not enough to excite volatility or volume. With all this in mind, I thought I would give a quick market recap then discuss a question on a lot of investors minds, is there going to be a recession? I go over what a recession would like like in 2022 and how long it would take to develop. Simply, if the recent commodity swing and volatility persists and the recession kicks into gear today, we still probably wouldn't see it materialize in markets till 2023.
