Having endurance in this tough times

What is the point of all the trials that us, as children of God face in this life?
Look at Ukraine, Armenia( thousands of christians killed during the war in 2020 with Azerbadjan), look at Afganistan (our brothes and sisters suffering under talibans)..
Feels discouraging if we are having the foundation of our life on our human understanding!
But, we have the Word of God to give us hope and to explain to us the purpose of all of this.

Bible verse
Romans 15:5
"May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you the same attitude of mind toward each other that Christ Jesus had."
