She Found Me and Look What Happened

We're off for the weekend but our plans for sun and fun on the beach are curtailed due to it raining all week here where it's supposed to be gloriously sunny every day so we may have to stay in side and play "Backgammon For Blood" or something. Meanwhile, the Mayor has take control of the studio and is crafting another one of those hiney-draggers of a segue. He's mixed Robert Johnson and Boz Scaggs together. We're still waiting with bated breath for his big announcement which is supposedly going to be issued any day now but that's been the schedule for a week now and everybody is already over it before it even happens...

Segue City will be a recurring short-form programming element of "The Big Kahuna" - one of GET's developmental Internet Radio formats created by Dain Schult. It’s all a part of GET’s radio division – American Internet & Radio (“AIR”).

It revives the art of mixing two songs together in a seamless pattern where it is tough to tell where the first song ended and the second one began. Sometimes the segues may also revolve around thematic ideas like matching or similar song titles. Other times there's hidden meanings and Easter Eggs in the mix as well. We'll try anything because no two Segue City Specials will ever be exactly the same...
