Response to Insider Stock Trading and Special Privileges of U.S. Senators (02/28)

"... You should not get rich off of public service. You should not get special healthcare. You should not receive special retirement. You should not get rich off insider trading. And so, I have pledged and committed that my wife and I will NOT trade stock as a U.S. Senator.

In fact, I have sold our stock because I believe public service should be about sacrifice and giving of oneself, just like our founding fathers, to ensure that freedom and liberty are passed to the next generation..."
