WHY DID SHELBY SHELL TAKE DEAL?

After a hung jury (6-6) , Shelby Lee Shell takes a plea deal for murder even though the state had no Physical evidence, No DNA. In fact the only damning evidence was giving by two witnesses and especially one which had intimate knowledge of the murder. We will look at the trial provided by fellow creators of The Stand.
