Painting animals allows Katie Preston (b. 1989) to use light, color, and carefully considered compositions to tell their stories. With acrylics, she is allowed to breathe life into the creatures she paints past or present. Each image showcasing a moment in time, daily activity, or the inner spirit of the subject. With a brush in hand, Katie is delighted to show you the marvelous and unforgettable world of wildlife.
Katie has shown her work at the Lan Su Chinese Garden, The 23 Sandy Gallery, and at The Elizabeth Jones Art Center.
