MACHINE SHOP KITTENS

Filmed on Thursday, March 10, 2022. Jerry Cortner's Machine Repair Shop. Cerulean, Kentucky.

Steven is friends with Willy, the lead mechanic at the shop. Steven was visiting Willy at the shop on March 10 when Willy made a suggestion to Steven. Willy had told Steven that he had three little black kittens that had been hanging out at the shop since their mother, a stray cat, had brought them to the shop in December as newborns. Willy has been allowing the kittens to stay and the shop, and he has been feeding them since December. The mother cat is pregnant AGAIN, and she has already had several litters. She is a stray cat that no one claims, and she continues to get pregnant. Willy has had many shop kittens before.

He asked Steven if we would be interested in taking one of the kittens for A.J. Up until now, we have not allowed our son to have his own pet(s) because we have not felt that he is responsible enough to take care of a pet. However, Steven surprised me by suggesting that we not only take ONE kitten for A.J., but TWO (two kittens for the sake of companionship for each other).

This video depicts how we got the first one. The next day, Friday, March 11, 2022, Steven went back for the second kitten.
