The "Spirits in Prison" - The Ark: Shut In or Shut Out

Part 1 of a two-part exposition of Peter's obsevation in 1 Peter ch. 3 that Noah's Ark was a type or figure of the salvation that we have in Christ Jesus. In Part 1 we explain what Peter meant by the Spirit's preaching, "unto the spirits in prison; Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water."
In Part 2 we summarily explain why the "sons of God" in Genesis 6 COULD NOT have been fallen angelic beings that allegedly mated with human women, and then we go on to show the many ways that Noah's Ark serves as a figure of the great salvation we have in Christ.
