Kundalini Rising Demystified + Simplified (additional info/clarifications in description)

Kundalini energy can definitely be used to go out of the head and flow through the aura, but it may be more natural for the energy to stay in the body according to what I have been taught by psychic teachers. Although, I recognize both are possibilities. The energy is about preserving the body and bodily energy which could include the aura of the body if not at least the body. There are many different teachings and I don't mean to invalidate any of the different perspective because I believe any of them will work. It's just a matter of which one works best for you.
Kundalini can also be used to heal the body as it is the body's vitality energy.
There are varying degrees to running your kundalini energy. It is like a switch that turns off and on, but at the same time there are different amounts that can run through. Some people may have a higher wattage (so to speak) because they have cleared out the energy in their energy channels and chakras that are blocking the natural flow. When these channels are cleared out more, then more of the kundalini can flow similar to a faucet that is cleaned out and can allow more water to flow through easier. So while someone may have an experience of kundalini different from someone else, it doesn't mean that their experience was not kundalini. Keep in mind that sometimes people do call many things kundalini when they are actually other types of energy or even just channeling. If you are running kundalini you will feel it in your body and it will be a bodily experience in alignment with whatever chakras it is influencing.
I see the snake being used as a symbol because of the motion that the energy makes as well as the self preservation of the survival of the body, similar to the survival skills of the snake. It is of a very similar energy. This is the energy of the body's vitality that can be very strong like a snake, the trick is to get it aligned with your spirit/higher self.
