Best of the Rest: Northland Rippin' Minnow

The 2020 ICast New Product Showcase "Best of Category" winners were announced in mid-July, and can be seen on fishing media outlets nationwide. But, what about those products that didn't win? Here is our "Best of the Rest" series where we will be highlighting 12 new products that didn't garner awards, but would nonetheless be great assets to your fishing arsenal.

Product Showcase #7: Northland Rippin' Minnow

Rippin’ Minnow is a hybrid lure that incorporates the gliding action of Northland’s Puppet Minnow finesse plastic tail, with a hard-plastic gliding jighead. The forward- stationed jighead propels the entire lure in a darting motion throughout the water column, while the soft plastic tail contributes color, attraction and bite retention. This action mimics a dying minnow to entice aggressive strikes. From weedline panfish to deep- structure walleyes, the Rippin’ Minnow is a cast-and-retrieve bait that also fishes well vertically.
