"Hitler didn't kill ethnic Germans" -- Ambassador Michael McFaul

PRODUCTION NOTE: I mistakenly called him "Paul" rather than Michael. Given his middle name is Anthony, there really is no excuse for the error. Former US Ambassador Michael McFaul doubled down on his erroneous statement on the Rachel Maddow Show last week with snarky tweets after he faced harsh comments and ridicule for making false statements about Adolf Hitler on air.

We all make mistakes (notice mine mentioned above). But.... This man is a SENIOR FELLOW at the Hoover Institution (the same place that includes American giant Victor Davis Hanson), former member of the National Security Council member and US Ambassador to Russia. One would expect a subject matter expert like this to be informed on basic facts about the Second World War. While it is no joy to suffer twitter abuse, it is not unreasonable to expect someone with his CV to admit his error rather than be so snotty in response too.
