Proposal Aims to Restore SALT Deduction

A democratic proposal looks to restore the SALT (state and local tax) deduction for taxpayers who make less than $400,000 a year. The Supporting Americans with Lower Taxes (SALT) Act would remove the $10,000 cap on the SALT deduction put in place by the Trump Tax Cuts.
