Classic Grooves - Super Bad - James Brown

A brief demonstration of the 3 drum grooves utilized on the James Brown song, “Super Bad”. The first groove is played during the “A” sections of the song; you can call it the verse, if you like. The second and third grooves are used in the “B” sections, before which The Godfather of Soul calls out “bridge”. Whereas my demonstration depicts the second & third grooves alternating, on the actual recording, they do not alternate. The third groove is more prevalent and the second groove is used sparsely. This one of my all time favorite James Brown songs which can be found in the Bowfinger” movie soundtrack from 1999.
