Silence (Revelation 8)

When above all heaven the final seal was loosed, there was only one reaction from those who saw: silence. For a half hour, all angels, all saints, and all stirring came to a halt. Every stirring which had thus livened heaven becomes reverent and mute, for they know what hour it is. God knew the suffering of His people, the lamentation of earth, even now the heavenly dwellers understand what comes with this seal. God’s justice, which prepared every opportunity and hour for repentance, is now breaking forth as it has never before, and with it will come woe and gnashing of teeth.
