Children, Obey Your Parents...?

Jesus commands children to obey their parents, but is it an unconditional Commandment?

Jesus commands children to obey their parents, but whenever we see a Scripture about children, we need to start from the premise that parents have a first responsibility to do what God says (keep Jesus’ Commandments) and only once they do are they in a position to teach their children.

He teaches us in His Word to us, the New Testament of the Bible, that we do not follow the Law of God given to Moses for the children of Israel, but we are to pick up our own cross, let go of all the things we think are right, and choose to do the things He tells us are right - and teaching children by the power of our words and our example, simultaneously, is the first step!
