Tammy Korthals was arrested for a DUI, and handcuffed behind her back. While entering the jail, she was instructed to climb a short staircase, despite her inebriated state. The officer went in front of her, as she climbed the stairs unaided. Predictably, she slipped and fell, hitting her head on the floor, and suffering serious injuries.

In today's story, we discuss if the jailer acted unreasonably, and whether Tammy can recover for her injuries.
