Politeness gets Bank Robber Reduced Sentence

Moms everywhere teach the importance of being polite. How true that was for this bank robbery. Our protagonist decided to rob some banks (apparently, missing mom's lesson "don't rob banks") and was sentenced in part for making death threats while doing his robbing.

The defense objected ---- and in an unusual move, so did the US Government! Yes, really - the US government argues along with the defense that the trial court screwed up and gave this bank robber too long of a prison sentence!

You don't see that every day!

Today, we review this case, and discusses the reality that while crime doesn't pay, being polite does.
