Finally, when the 9/11 Commission investigation was launched, it was underfunded; limited in scope; saddled by arbitrary time limits; and ultimately racked by scandal. Six of the ten Commissioners said they were unhappy with the investigation; and one even resigned, calling it a "cover-up." In the end, the Commission failed to answer the most important questions about 9/11, many of which haunt our Nation still.
